Asiana has found an investor

Do you remember when few months ago plenty of Asiana aircraft took off without any meals onboard due to financial problems? It looks like soon we won’t be hungry anymore during their flights. Hyundai Development Co has just announced taking over of controlling stake of this South Korean airline. More HERE

Indigo breaks a record weekly check

Indian largest airline has just become the largest carrier in this country…ever. By receiving on the last day of 2019 – four new Airbuses A320 Neo – Indigo exceeded the number of 250 aircraft in their fleet which allowed them to become a lone leader. Taking into consideration their last year’s order for 300 more Airbuses it does not look like it could change in the nearest future. More HERE

Delta finalizes takeover of 20% LATAM

As it is written, another deal is done! After last year’s break up between American Airlines and LATAM, the latter have found another business partner. Another potentate of the American sky seized the opportunity and purchased 20% of this Latin American Airline. More HERE

Aeroflot ranked the most punctual Airline in the world

Cirium – the company which collects and analyzes travel data from more than 100,000 flights a day for building a database of airline performance just revealed the results of their annual ranking. In the ON TIME performance category, Aeroflot won, ahead of ANA and Delta. That means a double win for Russia. Why? because in the same category but among the airports, the Moscow airport Sheremetyevo (SVO) turned out to be the best. The whole ranking results HERE.
